If you have changed your tire or gear sizes, your odometer and speedometer readings may be off, because your vehicle may still think you are sporting stock tires, rims, and gears. Have no fear! Hypertech has created one stand-alone unit, the Hypertech 730102 Speedometer Calibrator, which keeps your speedometer reading properly without the additional cost of buying a complete tuner. Installation of the calibrator is so easy; all you have to do is plug it in to the factory wiring harness. Also, the Hypertech calibrator is easy to update with the USB cable and CD, via the internet, so you will always be able to stay updated with the latest software. Now, you do not have to worry about false mileage being added to your vehicle; with the Hypertech 730102, you can just drive it!

This speedometer calibrator automatically keeps your speedometer and odometer calibrated as required by law. It downloads and saves the stock tuning program to read and clear diagnostic trouble codes or “check engine” lights. It corrects the speedometer and odometer for tires up to 54 inches (depending on the application) and/or non-stick rear gear ratios. If you want the speedometer re-calibration functions of the max Energy programmer, but without the additional expense of the other tuning features, this calibrator is what you need.
